Tuition & payment plans
MBS is priced so that a full-time senior pastor of a mid-size church can enrol without going to their board for permission, and so that a bivocational village pastor can be admitted on the same footing through the bursary programme.
US$ 95 / month for the duration of study (typically 12–18 months).
Or US$ 950 / year, paid once, saves two months.
US$ 750 one-time, sixteen weeks.
Or US$ 200 × 4 months if a payment plan suits you better.
US$ 45 / month for six months.
Bursary rate available on request: US$ 15 / month.
US$ 3,900 for the nine-month residency.
Or three quarterly payments of US$ 1,400.
MBS offers reduced tuition for pastors of small and under-resourced churches, and a bursary programme funded by graduates of the flagship program. Bursaries typically cover between 50% and 100% of tuition and are awarded on a rolling basis.
There is no separate paperwork. On the application form, tick the bursary request box and write two sentences about your situation. Admissions will follow up within five working days.
MBS applies regional pricing at checkout for pastors in Africa, South Asia, and Latin America, benchmarked against local church median incomes. The adjusted price is shown before you commit to any payment, and no application is disadvantaged for taking the regional rate.
If your board is paying, we will invoice the church directly and provide a proper receipt suitable for your books. Ask on the application form and admissions will handle it.
The MBS refund policy is one paragraph long, and lives on its own page for the avoidance of doubt: read the refund policy.
In short: monthly plans can be cancelled at any time, with no partial-month proration. Annual and one-time payments are fully refundable within the first fourteen days of admission. After fourteen days, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis by admissions, and are frequently granted for reasons of illness, bereavement, or a genuine change of pastoral context.
Every tuition question above can also be raised on the application form.
