Ministry Business School privacy policy

Last updated: current academic year. Read alongside the Terms of Study.

Summary

We collect only the information we need to admit you, teach you, credential you, and receive tuition from you. We do not sell your data. We hold what students write in assignments and mentor sessions in confidence, and use it only inside MBS.

What we collect

  • Application details — name, contact, church context, and your written responses.
  • Account credentials — the email you sign in with and, if you set one, a password. Authentication is provided by eZine Learning's Supabase identity service.
  • Learning records — lessons opened, artifacts submitted, mentor notes, and progress against your program.
  • Financial records — the payment plan you selected and Stripe / Paystack payment references. We do not store your card number.
  • Support correspondence — anything you write to admissions, faculty, or safeguarding.

What we do with it

  • Admit you and match you to a mentor and program.
  • Deliver lessons, record progress, and issue credentials.
  • Send transactional messages (receipts, reminders, mentor bookings) — and, only if you opted in, non-transactional updates.
  • Investigate a support or safeguarding matter, on the desk you addressed.
  • Improve the curriculum — always from aggregated data, never from an individual student's writing.

What we never do

  • Sell your data to third parties.
  • Publish your name, church, or writing without your specific consent.
  • Share your mentor conversation with anyone outside your assigned mentor and the faculty lead, except where safeguarding, safety, or law requires.

Your rights

You may request a copy of what we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, or ask us to delete your record after you have completed or withdrawn from the program (retaining only what accreditation, accounting, or safeguarding law requires us to keep).

Route these requests through privacy@ezinelearning.com.

Where your data lives

MBS runs on the shared infrastructure of eZine Learning — Supabase for identity and student records; Netlify for the website; Stripe and Paystack for payments; Resend for transactional email. All are engaged as data processors under written agreements. MBS-specific records are kept in tables scoped to the school and are not commingled with unrelated eZine products.

Cookies

MBS uses only the cookies required to keep you signed in and to remember your theme preference. There is no advertising tracker. Analytics, when we run them, are event-count only, not per-user profiling.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced by email to current students at least fourteen days before they take effect.
