Pastors are trained to preach. They are almost never trained to lead an organization.

The seminary gap
Seminary trains for the pulpit. It rarely trains for the board room, the budget, the safeguarding policy, or the second-service rota. MBS closes that gap.

The business-book problem
Business books were written for corporations, not congregations. Adapting them by guesswork produces churches that feel like companies. We teach the disciplines in the language of the church.

A 40-person village church is not a 4,000-seat multi-site. MBS names nine contexts and teaches each on its own terms — without either envy or condescension.

Church Planter Intensive
A 16-week intensive for aspiring planters and pastors in the first 24 months of a new work. Launch playbook included.
Small Church Rescue Track
Twelve modules across six months for the pastor of a small, bivocational, or under-resourced congregation. Bursary support available.
Multi-Location Residency
A nine-month executive residency for the senior pastor of a multi-service, multi-location, or streaming church. Cohort of 24.

Is MBS a seminary or Bible school?
No. Seminaries and Bible schools do the essential work of doctrine, theology, and biblical formation. MBS teaches the executive disciplines — governance, finance, operations, people, growth, multiplication — that seminaries do not. Most of our students hold a seminary degree already.
Does MBS take a denominational position?
No. We serve pastors and churches across the confessional spectrum — historic Protestant, Pentecostal, Reformed, Baptist, Anglican, Methodist, non-denominational, and more. Doctrinal formation belongs to your tradition.
How long does the flagship program take?
Twelve to eighteen months at a working pastor's pace, self-directed within the four-semester envelope. Life happens; we allow up to six months of paused enrolment without penalty.
Is there financial help for small churches?
Yes. Reduced tuition and a bursary programme, funded by graduates of the flagship program. Tick the bursary box on the application form; no separate paperwork.
